It was worth the wait to see this lovely female kingfisher. I had been watching for her for hours when she suddenly appeared! It was the first photograph I have taken of a kingfisher this year as sadly I am not allowed on the land where I used to photograph them. It was well worth the wait though and I think she's adorable.
