The goldfinches are just not phased by me walking around the garden when they are feeding. This little fellow just carried on eating! I was bringing all the geraniums into the conservatory for the winter and other tender plants. It's a job that has to be done at this time of year if we are going to keep them going for next year. Then I swept up round the front door and moved the camelias so that they would be sheltered against the cold winds because they don't tolerate wind. Then it was raking leaves till I had filled the green bin only to find that this week they are changing our bin collections and they won't be collecting the green one until next week! Oh well I will just have to put any other leaves into the trailer to be taken down to our friend's field.
