Although the goldfinch is much prettier than the female chaffinch, I put the chaffinch in my main album because I always think birds look so much better in trees than on the feeder station. However, goldfinches are remarkable colours and they are lovely. We have loads of them visiting the feeders each day and I love to see thier bright colours
