The swans all tend to sit on this ledge by the River Great Ouse in Bedford and preen themselves. However, I don't think these two get on very well together! I have been to the Opticians this afternoon so had to wear my glasses as he wanted to examine my eyes without my contact lenses as they were "misty" when I went to see him the other week and it was because the conjunctivitis was on it's way back! However, he tells me that I need a stronger prescription in both eyes so he will order new lenses and get me to try them for a couple of weeks. I hope they are better as I must admit I struggle to see things in poor light
