The leaf got in the way of me taking this shot but it's not surprising really because he was so close and I didn't have a chance to adjust anything. He has got a beakful of bluebottles by the look of it. The robins fly in and out all day too and they have given me loads of photo opportunities but they do tend to hang around waiting for me to go away so I don't want to disrupt feeding time too much!
This robin was approx. 3 - 4 ft away from where I was standing!
Great shot. we were told by a camera club judge that taking an image of a bird was not enough .. the bird had to be doing something.. I think this shot would keep him happy..
