Prince by rosiekind

Prince

This dog was sitting in the back of a man's 4x4 and he let him out when he saw that I was interested in him. Prince is only 5 months old and he's absolutely lovely - a real gentle giant and has a lovely temperament. His father was a police dog. The chap who is a fisherman and lives in the next village told me that he hadn't had a dog for 40 years although he did have a fox which he reared from young and had him as a pet for 14 years. It's amazing who you get talking to when you have a camera in your hand!
Oh he is just so precious! It is amazing how a camera can be an ice breaker.

Great portrait. They are great dogs. I used to have a neighbour who was in the dog squad, and always had these dogs around. They are very well tempered.

@busylady That's good. I thought I would get the 9.15 train from Sandy which gets to Kings Cross at 10.15 and the tube ride takes about 10 mins which would be ideal. It would be great to meet up with you as I haven't seen you for ages and there's loads to catch up on!

@rosiekind I've just found your reply! I had forgotten which picture I had used to mention the 365 meet up! I've been so busy lately with grandchildren that I haven't had time for much else. I have also mentioned it to Helen @dizzyd to see if she might like to join us. I used to work with her at the school in Offord and we still meet up for lunch occasionally. She's not sure if she can make it but will let me know.
