Causing a distraction

This is Mum or Dad (not sure which) who decided to sit in the tree and sing so that I would be distracted from baby robin. A very nice distraction though

apparently the female bird has a v shaped hairline and a male u-shaped. I have just read that as I did not know. As for this offering a profile I am not sure - ?female. Lovely photo by the way, :-)
