History Group celebrations

This is a selection of some of the shots I took at the History Group celebrations on Wednesday night. The History Group have got Heritage Lottery Funding and they have now been going 10 years. The stables where the event was taken were built in the 1400s.

Top left is St Lawrence (our village church) and next to that is a shot of the stables with the church in the background. Top right is Daniel who is a great friend of ours and was one of the founder members. Bottom right is the present Chairman who was saying thank you to everyone who has made it such a success, next to him is a shot of the initial Chair Person (in pink) who is cutting the celebration cake and next to her is the lady who made the cake (which was delicious). Bottom right is a shot of Steve (on the left) my hubby who plays guitar as one of his instruments and his mate Graham playing the violin and they are half of the Old Geezer Band who play regularly each Tuesday as the resident band in the Three Cups pub in Bedford. They provided the musical entertainment.

After I had posted my shot in 365 album of Squizzer, I had just told you that he was eating nuts from his own feeder rather than the birds. He must have heard me because I looked out of the window and naughty boy that he is was eating the sunflower seeds out of the birds feeder.
Lovely collage, Rosie.
