One from the other day that I didn't get round to posting. Funnily enough I saw one perched on the roof of someone's house this afternoon in Bedford but I hadn't got my camera with me - a very unusual occurrence I can assure you but I was in Steve's van collecting logs for the fire from a friend who wanted to get rid of some. Best on black if you have time
Lovely shot, very nice composition. I bet the house the Heron was on the roof of, had a pond in the back garden. He will have been waiting for a chance to swoop down and grab the fish from it.
