Top left is a mistle thrush, top middle a chiff chaff, top right a blackbird with a beakful of worms, bottom left a reed bunting, middle bottom a song thrush and bottom right a moorhen. I have just realised that very top right is a bullfinch and next to him is a wren.
Aw, what a lovely array! I went to the Botanical Garden in Valencia today for a break, but the birds I could hear were waaaaaayyyyy up high and I only had a 24-70 so they were specks in my shot.
@rosiekind -- I only traveled with that one lens, and I found myself taking "documentation" type of tourist shots. I'm wondering if I'm better off with the two extremes -- a super wide angle, and a tele-zoom. Sigh. Why are lenses so heavy?
