Six of the best

I can't remember where this expression comes from but it came to my mind that's a bit foggy! You can't really see the sixth goldfinch who is the other side of the feeder but the feeders have been very busy again today.

I remember 'six of the best' was the strap at school? Six strokes of the cane! We will forget that and say this photo has six of the best goldfinches!
