What a beakful

This starling was snacking on some fat that I cut off the pork joint yesterday. As it was the first frost of the season, I think they were glad of lots of calories to keep them warm. He did have rather a large beakful though!

Oh bother. I cut fat off some slices if pork at the weekend and didn't even think of the birds. Perhaps that we don't have starling visitors!

That's a good idea, I never thought of doing that instead of buying suet. This fellow appears to think it's quite delicious.
