It's amazing what a difference it makes when you switch off vibration reduction on your lens when it's on a tripod. The first shots I took I forgot to turn it off and I had been hand holding prior to going to the brook so I was glad I realised in time.
@helenhall I think it’s to do with it searching for movement when it’s on and of course there’s no movement so I think it must slow down the autofocus as the photos weren’t sharp
