Steve's band aptly named the Old Geezer Band played in our local pub last night and it was a great night. The pub had a great atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was nice not having to drive and worry about having a drink as I could walk down the road to the pub. Steve is on the right and plays rhythm guitar and sings, Alan plays bass and also sings, Dave second from the left came over from near Royston and hasn't played with Steve for a long time and Graham is on the left and plays the fiddle.
It was great to have a wide variety of music as Steve and Dave do Simon & Garfunkle songs as well as Chas & Dave, Alan does mainly 60s and rock and roll and Graham plays Irish jigs on his fiddle and they all sound great together. A great night was had by all and the pub was well supported by villagers.
@alophoto No you’re right he’s only 58 and he’s still referred to as the boy! He’s not usually part of the band but came along for a reunion with Steve as they used to play together
