Nice shot, but they drive me nuts. My neighbour puts out lots and lots of fat based bird food, this attracts the starlings in their hoards which in turn attracts the pigeons and magpies, oh and the rats from the nearby stables too. All these birds sit on the fence that divides our gardens, with their posteriors over my side of the fence. You can guess the rest. I put daily water and seeds out for the birds, but it doesn't attract any of the above.
@gamelee I know what you mean. They can be a nuisance but I was just amazed to see them both on the birdbath together. Sadly, today I found what I think may have been the one sitting down dead on the floor under the bird bath so I think it may well have been dying when it sat there.
