This is another shot of the rose I posted yesterday and this one is before the rain rather than after as it is predicted that we are going to have torrential rain later. However, we keep hearing this but don't get it and the garden really needs it. I have been eating our new potatoes now for the past week or so and it is lovely to dig them up and eat them fresh from the garden. They have so much more flavour and I think the horse manure I put on the garden last autumn has done it a power of good.
Still a beautiful rose. I know what you Jean about the rain. We had little in our area, but other parts around had fierce thunderstorms causing a lot of damals. Cooler now but more heat again forcast for the weekend
