This dog belongs to Gavin the farmer who owns Hill Farm and he was patiently waiting for him to return. He came running over to me, wagging his tail and was very friendly. I gave him a lot of fuss and then he started following me up towards Sheerhatch Woods but fortunately, he didn't come far. When I walked back, Gavin was coming along in his truck and the dog (whose name I don't know) ran after him and was so pleased to see Gavin. He's lovely - the dog I mean although Gavin always gives me a wave as he's seen me so often in Wood Lane.
