I haven't got a macro lens and with my crutches I can't mess about changing lenses anyway so I have been using my D5300 and 70-300mm lens as it is much lighter and very versatile for me at the moment. It's quite good to use this camera as it doesn't get out much as it's my spare one but I have now taken nearly 10,000 photos with it but it's got a long way to go to catch up with my D7200! It will seem funny and I will probably find it heavy when I change back to the 400mm lens and the heavier camera but I'm sure I shall manage it!
