The Old Forge by rosiekind

The Old Forge

This is one of the oldest houses in the village and is a beautiful house. It was once the Old Forge and the house on the opposite side of the road was an old coach house built in the same design. The Old Forge is a Grade: II listed building and the date listed: 17 May 1984, English Heritage Building ID: 36762 The house stands in the middle of two roads which are now very busy. The days when the horses came in for shoeing must have been so different. If the walls could speak, I am sure they would have some great tales to tell.
Beautiful. I love your processing.

I recognise this old house. There seems to be a bit of a traffic jam or is it always this busy ? Nice capture.

Lovely old village. Shoeing has a different meaning these days, instead of shoes for horses, we have wheels for cars.
