Not a great shot as the light is terrible but I spotted this blackcap (top right) after I had just filled the suet ball feeder yet again. They are certainly getting through a lot of RSPB suet balls! In future I shall only buy them from the RSPB as the birds really like them.
Oh well spotted Rosie. There seems to be a few of these around this year. You've got one, Pams got two, and after a few uncertain recent glimpses, I finally watched a female Blackcap in the garden for about five minutes yesterday. Not photographed it yet though.
