A man was flying a drone in Priory despite there being notices saying that this is forbidden so I just had to take a photo. He kept making it fly higher and higher so that I couldn't get a focus on it but I had already got this shot. Also in the collage is some plum blossom so I hope there are plums to pick this year.
It's a shame some people either can't read or just choose to ignore the rules. I think they are concerned about the number of people there to allow drones. I have one myself and they do hurt a lot if they hit you.
We went to a nature reserve for our walk this morning where the signs said clearly ‘All dogs on leads’ . The first couple we passed had a dog running off lead. I was saying to Barb that the dog should be on a lead when an older couple whose dog was on a lead told the couple about the signs. They immediately put the dog on the lead but as soo as they walked by they took it off again. I said to the lady the sign was obviously not meant for them! Some people seem to do just what they want regardless of restrictions!
Rules are in place for a reason, usually something has already happened for the rule to be made. Some folks don`t care, they act as though it doesn`t apply to them.
Interesting capture and story Rosie, there are now lots of legal requirements to operate a drone, first and foremost you need to be register with and have passed a CAA test, have both a CAA ID number and operators number attached to the drone and have paid the annual fee to the CAA, plus comply at all times with the new restictions on where and how high you can fly, all enforcable by law since October 2019,
I suspect this person is not complient with any of the above, if you see him flying again just let the police know do not approach the individual at all:)
