Tales of the riverbank

I sit amidst the tall green grass on the riverbank
Where all I can hear are the sounds of nature
Punctuated by the sound of the farmer's wagon
A tractor ploughing a nearby field
The sun shines brightly, the birds sing - tits, finches and a solitary kite soars high over yonder
The breeze ruffles the nearby trees
And the reed bed sings it's lazy lullaby
Sun burns down like a ball of fire
The peace of nature surrounds me and I'm happy to my heart's core.

Poem written by me as I sat looking at this view
A lovely scene and lovely words to go with it too.
