ABC-Z Z= ZEBRA MUSSEL SHELLS

Pictured here are Zebra Mussel Shells, , There are on the floor of the St Lawrence River scattered in various places. They are in numbers that cannot begin to be counted. There are still (who knows how many) alive and doing well. It is like a plague on the river. They are actually disturbing the Eco system of the river by eating the tiny vegetation that some fish and plants depend on. The only good thing about this posting is ZZZZZ the last letter .
Actually I had a good time and found it quite challenging but I am not ready to do it again right away. Kudos to all who have kept up with this Alphabetical Journey
Congratulations on plugging your way through ... !!!

Funny, I was looking at thousands of them today while walking the dogs along the empty Erie Canal. They're all washed up on the dry rocks.

Great word find! I like the way you zoomed in on them, closer & closer in your collage. (It's been fun sharing the journey!)

Awesome collage!

BTW....Saw your post on the message board about 365 Meet Up. Im originally from the Syracuse area...currently residing in SC. I often make it up that way during the summer...let me know if you get a group together in the summer...I'd love to tag along! It's been years since I've been up there...we used to frequent A-Bay!
