yes they like to have their nest way up high. while going for a stroll last year we came to a dead end road with lots of bush around it. if you would try to get through there you come to the Bay of Lake Simcoe. we saw a very high pole where there was an eagle's nest on it. there were 3 of them in it wondering if it was father, mother and baby bird. i just love all of your nature's pictures. i have started an ace album that i called Nature at it's best. sofar i have a lot of flowers, indoor plants etc. in it but when i find the time i will upload some of my nature pictures.
I'm loving your osprey pic. I posted an osprey on April 21 -- I guess its that time of the year. But don't you just love osprey? The telephone company isn't too happy with them building in their equipment -- but almost all the really tall poles have at least one nest if the poles are in a series. "Your" bird really has built a deep nest.
