After a long series of photos of the Azores from my personal archive, I wanted to get back in taking a new photo each day, at least for a while.
The idea was catching on with the U2 concert, so in spite of today's dreadful weather I took my camera out. But it didn't work: I got wet through and my motivation died right there. I saw some nice photo opportunities, though, so I promise to try again tomorrow.
That being the case, I once again went to my archive and found that 2 years ago today I was walking in Berlin, one of my favorite cities. I remember the day was also rainy, so that's a good similarity... :-)
I started really early and saw The Wall as best as I could. It still transpires so many memories of the past... Some of the art is fabulous, believe me!
I chose this picture because it makes me remember the long and seemingly uncrossable "walls" of today. I have faith that one day, maybe sooner than we think, those "walls" will be just nice pieces of art in the ever changing world we all live in.
