I saw this house with beautiful red ivy in central London today. When I passed it again in the evening the shadows and red glow made it look quite eerie.
Ivy is one of those things I enjoy looking at one other people's buildings but would never have on my own because of the damage it does! I love this. All curtained in red. I bet it glows when the sun is on it in the daytime.
We used to have one of these on the back of a house some years back. It looked really nice especially as now when it starts to turn red. Unfortunately it also attracted wasps - not a good idea as I am allergic to their stings. 😱
I too love seeing Virginia Creeper in all its glory. There is a cream rendered house in our village with beautiful colour at the moment. This is really atmospheric - reminds me of the Adams Family.
