The Nelson Stair, Somerset House

This staircase is in the South Wing of Somerset House. It was originally known as the Navy Staircase because that part of the building was occupied by the Navy Board from the 1780s. The stairs were rebuilt in the 1950s after bomb damage during WWII.
I have a particular passion for doors and staircases, so this really floats my boat. Wonderful.
