In recent years, RISE Gallery has transformed rundown parts of Croydon by commissioning some striking pieces of street art. It is currently holding a festival to celebrate international urban art, and this piece by Dr D has appeared in an empty shop in St George's Walk.
The artist specialises in subverting adverts, and this work refers to Amazon paying a UK corporation tax bill of £4.5 million on pre-tax profits of £72m last year, compared to £7.4m on profits of £24m in 2016.
