This is a shot of the stage during the interval of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of The Taming of the Shrew. It swapped the male and female roles so that Katherine is a man and Petruchio is replaced by Petruchia, a woman. Having never really liked the play before, I thought this worked really well and heightened the absurdity of the whole plot.
