Went out for lunch without an umbrella. When I was far enough away from the office it rained so spent most of it sheltering under a tree. There I found some bugs. Leaf Beetle I think
@janturnbull that's exactly what I thought - next time you see one of these, kill it!! (after taking its photo as they are quite photogenic!) They destroy lilies.
It appears you're both right @lauralatham and @janturnbull. He won't find any lillies where I took the picture, just stinging nettles and a swolen Thames so perhaps he'll starve to death.
