Ola's brother. by ruthmouch

Ola's brother.

Ola, her parents, her aunt and seven siblings live in a bedouin style tent in a field. They escaped from Syria several months ago after Ola's uncle was killed and life in their street became just too dangerous to risk staying.

Many, many thanks to each one who visits and comments. Your photographs, good humour and kind words are a joy and always an inspiration. I truly appreciate the time and effort that this takes.
I hope they find peace and a better life in Lebanon. Beautiful portrait of this child. There is so much potential behind those beautiful eyes.

Can not imagine the pain and turmoil the people of Syria are going through for freedom and independence, we are so very fortunate to be living in a country where we do not have to continually fight for these wonderful God given rights!!

What a haunting little face! Very nice capture, Ruth! I get the same feeling when they send me pics of the little girl I help to support through Child Fund in Ecuador. At least, I can help one child.
