Mario's subjects

In 1957 part of the ground floor of the Barakat Building was rented as a shop to Mario, a photographer. During the Civil War the building was damaged and abandoned because of its prime position on The Green Line.
The ground floor of Beit Beirut is home to an exhibition of prints made from negatives discovered during restoration of the house. These prints are, so far, anonymous, and Mona Hallack, author of this exhibition and The Photo Mario Project hopes to discover who they are and what happened to Mario the photographer.
How exciting to have discovered the negatives to start with and how much more exciting it’s going to be to discovery eventually who the subjects are in the photos. I like your photo of them

Interesting photos. Hopefully someone will recognize these children and put names to their faces.
