@amandal @fueast @trinda @mauriciorodriguez @kbird61 @pamknowler @nicolecampbell @anazad511 @jgpittenger @skippysue @aglennc @taffy @libertylady @soboy5 @ivan Thanks for your comments, everyone. I was hoping Peter would see this before I replied, but I do want to share this story with you. A year ago, Peter DeGraaff toured the western USA and spent a night here in Montpelier, and I didn't know about it until after he left. So, to my great regret, I didn't get a chance to meet him. Recently, he asked if the Three Amigos were still here, so that is what this photo is all about. These paintings, and many others, were added to abandoned store fronts many years ago to dress up the shabby end of town.

This is what we think of "out-back America!" ;)

(or maybe I have just read to many American Cowboy comics!) ;)

@monkeykid That's hilarious, Therese! We are just a bit more civilized than these guys.

@rvwalker Haha, I'm sure you are!!! :D It's funny how we always imagine the lifestyle of people in far-off countries to be so different from our own! Living in South Africa I've been asked some very odd questions from foreigners... like do we have airplanes... or Internet... or if lions roam freely round our house, and if our house is a mud hut!!! :D

I love this storefront, and the building it is in. Wasn't there a beauty shop nearby. I would have goner to this cantina if it was still open. The other one we went to wasn't perfect. Thanks for posting for me.

The beauty shop is next door. http://365project.org/rvwalker/photo-extras/2014-01-16 I guess you discovered that we don't have gourmet food here. Our best restaurant is a truckstop two miles from town, although there are excellent restaurants 30 miles away at Bear Lake. Come on back and I will buy you a good steak. Thanks for your comment, Peter.
