I sat and waited 3hours for the moon to rise from behind the mountains across the water to Turkey.
When eventually it appeared, I couldn't see what I was doing and I wasn't sure what settings to use.
I have so much to learn about night photography. I am not pleased with this shot, but it was the best one I got.
Your advice and critique is more than welcome, maybe you can enlighten me!
Many thanks for your continual support and comments. :)"
I think it's lovely, with just those few houses illuminated on the left. I'm curious about the yellow hue from the moon. Surely there wouldn't be much pollution at this spot?
@sheliwithani There is a lot of dampness in the air, so it could be from that, otherwise it's from the settings on my camera as I wasn't sur what ones to use!
Lovely reflection on water. Night photos are so hard. There were heaps of moon photos posted over last few days so go check out Exif info on them. I think maybe your ISO was too high???
@sheliwithani Had a look at my camera, from what I can see the WB was on auto. The glow was the colour you can see as the moon was still an orangey colour, I think as someone mention that my ISO was probably bit to high, causing the glow around the moon?
