Wonderful picture and perspective.

Yes, great perspective and photo ! Incidentally, have you ever though about applying some gentle tone-mapping or HDR (high dynamic range) technique ? It can sometimes bring out some of the beautiful structure in the clouds - athough it is tempting to over apply it. Here is an example of where I did go too far: http://static.365project.org/1/5543299_ahmoprtx45_m.jpg
Since then I've tried to be more cautious. Some free Android or PC apps allow you to play with tone mapping etc. Let me know if you want some examples.
But maybe you are purist (like I used to be ) !

@ouzel_chris thanks for the info! I'll be sure to check it out. unfortunately, this picture was taken through a window. I was at a friend's house this past week so I didn't get much of a chance to go outside and explore and take pictures. I did increase the contrast a bit on this photo to try to get rid of that "window haze", but I didn't want to overdue it. we've just been having the gloomiest weather lately with stubborn low clouds.

I like the grey clouds with the breaks in them. Almost looks like a sundown, but from the time of the photo, that isn't the case.
