We received about two inches of rain in Nashville in the past three days, which has helped with our drought situation somewhat. Gatlinburg also received some rain, but unfortunately it's too late. The damage has already been done. This is a devastating disaster for the city of Gatlinburg and surrounding areas in my state as a countless number of famous and iconic landmarks, businesses, and homes have been destroyed by the wildfires and at least 14 people have been found dead so far and 134 people injured. Please keep east Tennessee in your thoughts and prayers.
Beautiful lighting in your pic!

We have been following the news reports; so sad to see all of the damage and loss. Our favorite restaurant in that area, Applewood/Apple Barn Farmhouse, was reported to have not sustained any damage ...I hope that is correct!

Totally understand this as we went through a similar situation earlier this year

Terrible thing, those wild fires. And to think many of them were purposefully set. We also had fires in our area, but not as many structures and people harmed.
