This morning starting around 5am, we had heavy rain and torrential downpours for several hours straight that led to major flooding in my area. Many streets were completely flooded and several rescues took place. We received around 6.5 inches of rain between 5am-noon, with the heaviest rain between 6-8am. This is a view of the Little Harpeth River nearby overflowing with water after the rain ended this afternoon. Normally, you would see stepping stones here, but they are submerged several feet below the surface.
Oh my that is a lot of water. I trust everything will be okay
