Rural security?

Marcel, co-owner with his wife, Suzanne, died some years ago. This gate, the entrance to their rural property, has been barred to all comers since his death. I am conscious of how Mother Nature assists us when she realises we need her support and assistance to safeguard that which we value.

Worth a view on black?
do not come hither. she would say it with brambles and bindweed in my garden

Love that clear pathway leading one in, only to be stopped short by those strong bars of the gate.

Looks like the entrance to Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Time and Nature stand still for no one.

VML everything about this picture. There is a real poetic tone about the story you hint in the description, ones imagination can get a lot out of that.

I think Suzanne is suffering inside this property not to let others come into her life!

Very telling of isolation and abandonment. Great shot.

I've not been up the lane since M died so I didn't even realise that there was a a gate - this plays out nicely.

It does look nice on black and gives an added sense of isolation and abandonment.
