Raindrops keep falling on my head?

Usual Grotte Trot, where water runs...eventually into Paimpont Lake. Standing under some trees, raindrops kept falling on my head. Not raindrops, but rather ice melting from the branches and leaves aloft. I was fascinated by their concentric rings and how they overlapped in the icy water. Quite liked the reflections too.

What is completely fascinating about this is the way the rings overlap without seeming to set up interference patterns... I guess because the semi-frozen surface is more viscous. Makes for a pleasing semi-abstract.

This is such a fascinating image Margo. I love the circles but also the ripple effect from the branches. Fav

I was too afraid of black ice to go out for a photo ride this morning. Love the celestial look of these rings.
