Was particularly atttacted to these catkins by their different colours and shades in diminishing 'sprigs' of 4, 3 and 2 respectively.
Having scrolled through realms of catkin photos, methinks these are Hazel. If you're in the 'know catkins club' and they're not, please let me know to ensure credit goes to the correct genus.
I'm interested that hazel catkins are different from other catkins especially as we have hazel trees and an alder near our stream. I like your focus and dof.
Hi, looks like I am your 'get pushed' partner..did not realised I had entered and not quite sure what to do..... but sorry I am late contacting you and I suspect you were supposed to set me a task....as a newbie have I missed a message board or something? Anyway if we are still doing it I would like you to push yourself to photograph something in the dark, all your pics this month are in light conditions. Is this OK?
I'm sure you're right and they are Hazel!

Sheila, re your challenge from me, you've already fulfilled it. Twice, with shots of your husband and the hide clamp. ;-)
