Cat dozes, mouse on guard by s4sayer

Cat dozes, mouse on guard

Chania was a stray who adapted rapidly to a home with several south facing windows. She has no habit of play, so I was bemused that she'd 'placed' this mouse, that I knitted for her, as watchdog!?
Awww...such a sweet shot...love the little mouse :)

Hello Margo, you have a wide variety of genres in both your albums and I note you quite like to crop too to add to their quirkiness. My challenge to you is to add to your composition with the use of intentional wonkiness, or Dutch-Tilt as it's properly known, and to do this before the photo is taken, not in post production editing. There is a lot on WWW but hen I was set this challenge I found this link very heplful. (I also found a wonky Christmas tree to straighten!) http://ruleofthirdsphotography.com/dutch-angle-photography/

If you don't like the idea of this, let me know- otherwise have fun!!!

Hello Jackie...this sounds like playtime, big time! Am on the case!

Funny - I originally thought you must have placed the mouse there.

I love when they look out at you through thinly opened eyes.

I love this shot. Even though Chania is dozing she is still keeping an eye on the mouse just in case it moves.

Haha! Like a video someone posted on Facebook the other week of the mouse chasing the cat!

I love this photo. I had a male cat that was like that.

That is one happy cat right there. And who wouldn't be, getting to nap without a care in the sun, with a mouse standing guard. Cute mouse you knitted.

Adorable!

Even though she's been with us over 8 years, her character is still developing... a cat-nip cat-nap is a new one.

Very nicely done!
