The door doesn't look old but the wall does and will hold that rusty peg for eons!

Is this a (less than) subtle hint that I have some painting to do this summer?

Hahaha! But, it made for a lovely shot :)

Very warm tones, I like the picture overall, rust and spiderweb included! @vignouse you won't sing "Cataracts are a boy's best friend", won't you?

The colors work very well together, I like the rust, dark orange and brown - the rust and the cobwebs add nice character and interest!

Love it - lots to look at here!

Ha ha, just think of all the cobwebs and dust you can photograph now. I have a postcard in my kitchen, it says. 'This house is protected by a coat of dust'
I love this shot. fav.

Rust and cobwebs. Great photographic subjects.

@onewing @dkbarnett What, just ONE coat! My approach to housework in general is hardly enthusiastic. As soon as all is done...it needs doing again! Am a seasoned believer in dusting by blowing it...elsewhere! However, I'll gladly spend all day working in the garden and see the benefit for days and weeks. O me miserum!

Love the webs, rust and character. Completely agree about never ending DD's(domestic duties). I clean but don't really have Emily Post visit much so I'm safe.

Door, brick, rust, textures, spider's webs... what more could we want?
