Abandoned workshop

This morning I made another stop at Mme Chalmet's farm, took a wander around the barn and came across this in the far corner. The neatly arranged tools accompanied by numerous tins of useful ephemera had a wistful air of waiting for someone to press them into service.

More poignant on black
A man's place - not unlike both my father's and husband's places in the cellar.

It looks full of ghosts from the past. Those old tins and boxes must be fifty years old if a day!

Very wistful find. Looks like it was once a well organised shed. Wonderful find and capture.

I like it, but it does have a sad kind of mood. I know someone (my dh) who would love to rummage through all that stuff,
