Seniors' Christmas Lunch by s4sayer

Seniors' Christmas Lunch

Today was the Christmas Lunch for the residents of EHPAD, Paimpont's Seniors' Home. As a member of the Management Committee, I was party to this event.

Here is Mme Monnerais, a resident, whose daughter came for lunch too. Whilst I couldn’t get a shot of Mme M looking at camera, you'll have to take my word that facially they're very alike. I was much struck by the intensity of their bond. I felt the whole was set off by the backdrop; Mme M in red against a white background, whilst her attentive daughter, more somberly dressed was put in relief by the rose pink wall.

Excellent festive lunch. The Real Deal for the residents will be on Christmas Day, as I hope for you all of us too.
Lovely shot

Like how the two are also separated by background color, adds greatly to this.

It's an interesting sign of the times to note that, given their relative ages, not so many years ago. Mother would have left us and Daughter herself might have been a resident.

I like the separation of colour on the wall behind them.

I like the rosy pink wall which matches the one lady's sweater and the collar of another lady's top.
