Iced nuts

Approx 4cm of snow overnight ensured a frenzy of birds on 8 feeders with fat balls, peanuts, sunflower seeds, fine bird seed and meal worms. The frozen snow didn't deter these this gang of hooligan greenfinches monopolising pole position. After I removed the icy snow, the tits...blue and great...performed their 'Dive, dive, dive' cabaret with aplomb. We’ve replenished the feeding stations twice today.
