Chania is a practised hunter and brings her prey into the house, caterwauling her success. Whilst she consumes most of what she catches, it's clear that she has varied modus operandi for despatching her haul. One day last week she brought in a tiny mouse approx 2”/5cm long, judging by the remains. Only the innards and the forepaws remained. These latter at 1.5 cm, were so delicate...and pristine, I could hardly believe they'd not long since been fully operational. Although R dissuaded me from taking a shot, I wish I had. There may well be a next time.
Meanwhile, on black, Chania manifests concentrated intent.
Chania sounds like a very accomplished hunter - but I don't think I could bring myself to photograph pristine and delicate little paws when that's all that is left of her prey.
