This POV is 5 minutes walk from Vignouse. Nothing much has changed on our watch... and that is almost 20 years. Having said that, if you look beyond the recently harvested field, the corrugated sheeting and the tree line, you can see 2 wind turbines. Whilst they play a significant part in producing power and energy...in gracious silence, I wonder what will become of our countryside?
That is surely a debatable question. I love the idea of harnessing wind for energy but I understand that these devices can play havoc with the wildlife, especially birds. I do like to look at them, though.
