Last Day of Christmas

Mitzi & I went for a long walk this morning. The light and textures were splendid. Neither of us were wild about the mud...she couldn’t carry me...you can divine the rest!

Nice sunlight along the horizon. Hard to tell if it's a late sunrise or the clouds are heavy above the light. I guess Mitzi won out.

I very much like the strong lines of the field juxtaposed to the softness of the farm and trees. FAV!

Mitzi wasn’t worn out...quite the opposite. I carried her along a path that was extremely muddy, reckoning it was more practical to wash my kit than put her in the shower!

Somehow the lines, trees, building and colours blend into a supreme composition - easy fav.
I see a Klee like watercolour painting when I semi-close my eyes ... fascinating!
