Ducks, Paimpont Lake, Autre Rive

I’ve never seen our duck contingent established at this spot on Paimpont Lake. I suspect the cooler weather persuaded them to move to the lee of the trees you see here. With most visitors having been and gone, this stretch of the lake's bank is sheltered and quiet, enabling the ducks to gather in the shallows of the reeds and bushes etc. Long may they thrive here.

Looks like they've chosen a good spot to rest up! Nice image.

Wonderful capture, composition...The ducks at Green Lake seem to be quite territorial :).

I believe it's always good to see wildlife congregating in a natural area. To me, it means the area is good and clean and conducive to life.
