Gilles, a neighbouring farmer, has land surrounding Vignouse. Every year, before cutting the crop, he pops round to tell us that he and his fellow farmers will be reaping from 7am. Not a problem...R fast asleep and me taking shots from our bedroom window.
Very considerate farmers...I do t think anyone does that here! They are cutting the maize behind our house too at the moment. Glad it’s happening while the soil is dry though raining tonight.
So nice of him to tell you when he's harvesting. The owners of the field behind our house never told us when they'd be out there all day and into the night.
